There are rules for working under or around Power Lines
Spotters are required when equipment or machinery are working within 6.4 meters of powerlines, or 10m of high voltage powerlines as enforced by WorkSafe.
The sole task is to observe and warn operators against unsafe approach to overhead power lines and other electrical apparatus.
